Archaeologists have discovered that early humans used ink for aesthetic purposes, such as body painting. In a cave in Zambia, pigments and grinding tools were found, believed to be around 300,000 years old.<br \/>\nBefore the industrial revolution, the range of colors available for artistic and decorative uses was technically limited, as most came from minerals, earth, or biological sources.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"supro-empty-space\" style=\"\"><div class=\"supro_empty_space_lg\"  style=\"height: 55px\"><\/div><div class=\"supro_empty_space_md\"  style=\"height: 55px\"><\/div><div class=\"supro_empty_space_xs\"  style=\"height: 55px\"><\/div><\/div>\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p>The industrial revolution introduced artificial pigments obtained through chemistry.
